1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study Returns!

Crack open Scripture & share life together through large group learning and small group supportive conversations! With a growing variety of groups to try out and ages represented, our Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (WWBS) is a mid-week chance to spiritually and socially refresh. Join us!

Each session begins with a time for fellowship, followed by a large group presentation of the week’s assigned chapters. We end our time together in small groups, reflecting on those same passages.

Special event on January 10th — All are welcome!

Join us for breakfast, coffee, and wise words from Ellie Roscher, author of the book “12 Tiny Things” as we gather for the first week of the new season of Wednesday Women’s Bible Study in 2024!

Often our New Year’s resolutions hint that there is something lacking inside of us. Ellie will lead us through intention setting for the year with the cornerstone reminders that you are already loved and good enough. Ellie’s books will be available for purchase, as will the Bible study guide for 1-2 Thessalonians and 1 Timothy.

Starting January 17th: 1 & 2 Thessalonians

Paul’s first impression of the Thessalonian Christians was an especially powerful one: The gospel message he preached grasped their hearts and minds, and transformed their lives. That memory moves Paul to write to the young church that’s bubbling with a sense of the power of the living God. These studies seek to open our lives to the God who leaves a lasting impression also on us. Join us!

And then, post-Easter, starting April 3: 1 Timothy

When you need to know how to do something, a manual is the best place to start. 1 Timothy might be called “the teacher’s manual,” because so much of what it contains is about the kind of teaching that Christian leaders should — and shouldn’t — be giving. Just as Timothy needed help to lead his young church well in the midst of powerful cultural forces, we need guidance for leading and living in our own context. These studies on Paul’s letters point us in the right direction.

Can’t join us in person? Feel free to join us live or watch a recording via the church’s Facebook page.

Bring your Bible! Study Guides are anticipated to be available for a small cost ($10) per copy.
