Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (WWBS) welcomes women of all ages and online viewers of all kinds to join us in studying Paul’s Letter to the Galatians this winter/spring. Each session begins with a time for fellowship, followed by a large group presentation of the week’s assigned chapters. We end our time together in small groups, reflecting on those same passages.
Warning: You will be blessed. It’s time to enjoy the written Word. Reconnect with Normandale Lutheran women and engage in this new season of fellowship and learning, guided by Paul’s letter to the Galatians.
Bring your Bible. Study Guides will be available for $10 per copy.
Are the Spirit’s fruits evident in your life? It’s easy to fall into the extremes of either living “by the desires of the flesh” or trying prove our own worthiness and holiness to God. In fact, this exact struggle is what inspired the apostle Paul to write his letter to the Galatians. As Christians, freed by grace and called to live as witnesses to others, we walk a fine line. We don’t want to fall into punitive legalism, and yet we also cannot live as if nothing matters and anything goes. Instead, our commitment to Christ is based on the gift of grace through faith, and results in a life of walking by the Spirit. Paul’s words in his letter to the Galatians are an encouragement to pursue a life of holiness, not in your own strength but in the knowledge of God’s empowering grace.
