Backyard Beauty in Minnesota

Award-winning wildlife photographer Bill Webb shares his stunning wildlife photography in this motivational presentation. Discovering the beauty all around us is the perfect way to stay grounded in creation! If Bill Webb’s name sounds familiar, it’s likely because he is a retired band director from Edina who was recently inducted into the NFHS National High School Hall of Fame.

Weather, Climate Change, & More!

Fox 9 Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard brings his knowledge and sense of humor as he talks about weather patterns, climate science, and all the wildfire smoke we dealt with this summer. He lives his life through one simple run-on sentence; “I love my life, I love my wife, I love my daughters and I love my dog…I kinda like the cats.” He works tirelessly for the 8,000 plus athletes of Special Olympics Minnesota all year long with the annual Polar Plunge in the winter and his Bad Pants Open Golf Tournament in the fall. Come to learn, laugh, and ask questions!

TBD

History shapes how our world works in the present day. A returning favorite, retired history teacher Scott Rohr joins us. Insightful and intelligent, Scott takes stock of what’s going on around the globe and graciously puts together a presentation to help us better understand the dynamics at work. By the time he’s done, you’ll be better informed.

Christmas Music!

The Edina Singing Seniors present a wonderful selection of Christmas songs. It’s been a few years since they’ve been here, so take advantage of this opportunity to gather together to enjoy the music of the season – they’ll even let us sing along!

A suggested donation of $10.00 per person covers the entire cost.
