Put the Plan into Funeral Planning |
Steve Rogers joins Pastor Maria Pederson to discuss the gift it can be for our families when we plan in advance. Steve is an Advanced Funeral Planner at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home and Chapels. He takes a hard topic and makes it easy for the families he serves! His role involves explaining the prearrangement process to families and putting their intentional plans down on paper, so they know the cost and options available to them. He’s passionate about removing the burden from the family after a loved one dies because they are often unprepared and overwhelmed. Outside of work, you can find Steve pedaling a bicycle, playing golf, or cheering on the Vikings!Pastor Maria has seen the relief families experience when they know their loved ones’ wishes. Having conversations when we’re healthy can be easier, and provides common understanding that helps years in the future.
