Normandale Preschool & Blessing Place Art Fair & Silent Auction

An exciting and interactive all-congregation event to celebrate Normandale Lutheran Church’s early childhood program community at Normandale Preschool and Blessing Place (NPBP). 

This event will:

• Celebrate the children entrusted to us by highlighting their artwork, ignited by the spirit of God, and the playground that will be built for them in Trinity Commons during summer 2023.

• Give NPBP parents the opportunity to feel pride, joy, and happiness for and with their children.

• Build a stronger community bridge between NPBP and the Normandale Lutheran Church community through presence, generosity, and celebration.

• Highlight the reciprocal benefits of these early childhood programs as they relate to participating families and the overall life and vibrancy of Normandale Lutheran Church and its priority for developing strong intergenerational relationships.

• Give the NPBP community and other congregational attendees a clear picture of the new playground as well as the entire comprehensive Vision 2025 capital campaign.

• Raise $50,000 to be used specifically for the playground portion of the Trinity Commons project.

WHEN:            4:00 – 6:00pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023

WHERE:         Fellowship Hall, lower narthex, and first floor hallways of Normandale Lutheran Church

WHO:              All parents and children from Normandale Preschool and Blessing Place are invited as well as the entire Normandale Lutheran Church congregation.  The event is free of charge and welcomes people of all ages.

SCHEDULE:      4:00 – 5:15pm

• Welcome / Reception with music, food, and drink sure to delight people of all ages

• Art Exhibit featuring inspired work by all 90 children in NPBP programs

• Silent Auction featuring handmade treasures, themed baskets, memorable experiences, and much more

                        5:15 – 5:30pm

• Short program and children-led groundbreaking in the existing playground area

• Silent Auction closes

                        5:30 – 6:00pm

• Reception and Art Exhibit viewing continue

• Silent Auction check-out
