At NLC, we believe children should be at the center of our congregational life. We partner with families, realizing that they are the most important people in a child’s faith development, to help children discover God’s love and to live their faith in everyday life.

Faith Markers use significant milestones in a child’s life to connect families to each other and to the congregation, helping strengthen their relationship with God.
*Faith markers are currently on hold due to the pandemic.
All are welcome to the table as baptized members of God’s family. At NLC, we invite children in grades 3-5 to their First Communion, though anyone who wishes to receive instruction is welcome, regardless of age. A parent/child instruction retreat is held during Lent and First Communion is celebrated at worship on Maundy Thursday.
Children in kindergarten through grade 6 are invited to participate in our active choir program!
Faith-based educational experiences for our youngest children are offered through Normandale Preschool (for ages 33 months to 5 years) and Blessing Place (for ages 18-33 months). Click below to learn more.

KFC- Kids Faith Connect*
Wednesdays | 5:30-8:00 pm
Kids’ Faith Connect brings kids 4 years – 6th grade together to
connect with their friends in faith while their parents are engaged in Wednesday Night activities at Normandale. There will be crafts, games, and fun!

Kids Night Out*
4 Saturdays/Year | 4:00-7:00 pm
Kids Night Out is a fun night of games, activities, and more for kids aged 6 months through 3rd grade. While the kids are having a great night out, so can their parents!
