Women’s Winter Weekend Gathering: Return and Reflect

An evening to gather with women of all ages to reflect on beautiful, contemplative art pieces by local artist Jessie DeCorsey. A charcuterie spread and wine/non alcoholic beverages will be served.

Come back the next morning for brunch, fellowship, small group discussion, healing breathwork with Jen Pederson, and a creative activity.

About Jessie DeCorsey: Born and raised in central MN, Jessie grew up within a very creative family. At university she studied fine arts and art history and discovered a passion for the way art could be used to communicate God’s story. This became a way of connection for her own faith journey and a way for others to see themselves within the biblical narratives. Painting has long since been her favorite way to explore theological concepts and biblical themes. In 2021, she graduated from Luther Seminary with a masters in the Bible where she had the honor of being the artist-in-residence. With a variety of incredible opportunities over the years she has been able to see firsthand the way creativity allows room for the Spirit of God to move in profound ways in and through a community.
