Creation Care Book Study – Is a River Alive?

Wednesday, October 21
from 5:30-6:16pm, during Normandale Table
in Fellowship Hall

All are welcome to gather with Normandale’s Creation Care group for a book study of “Is a River Alive?” by Robert Macfarlane.
“Is a River Alive?” is a joyful, mind-expanding exploration of an ancient, urgent idea: that rivers are living beings who should be recognized as such in imagination and law. Macfarlane takes readers on three unforgettable journeys teeming with extraordinary people, stories, and places. Purchase and read the book on your own and gather with the group on Wednesday Oct 21st from 5:30-6:15pm during the Normandale Table dinner for a discussion of the book. A video course related to the book called, “Is a River Sacred?” offered through Creation Justice Ministries to follow.
