Nursery Care

Nursery Care - Caring for Your Children

Children are an important part of life at Normandale. For our smallest ones, newborn to five years old, nursery care is provided free of charge.

Nursery Hours
Sundays  |  8:45-11:45 am, September – May
Wednesdays  |  5:30–8:00 pm, during program year
Special events as noted

The nursery is located on the lower level, in the north wing.

Your child’s safety is our first concern. Nursery caregivers are paid and scheduled staff of Normandale Lutheran Church who have training in First Aid, CPR, and child safety and security.

Upon arrival, sign-in and sign-out your child with the nursery attendant. Please bring a labeled diaper, bottle, pacifier, or other comfort item with your child.

In order to keep our children healthy, please keep your child home if they have experienced the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: fever, chicken pox, pink eye (conjunctivitis), discharge from eyes, ears or nose, vomiting or diarrhea, any rash (except diaper), persistent coughing or bringing up phlegm, diagnosed with/or being treated for a communicable disease.

Nursery Supervisor

Lauren Ritter

Meet Lauren Ritter, Normandale’s Nursery Supervisor! Lauren is a member of Normandale, and her past and current experiences keep her busy working with children. In addition to her work here at NLC, she is a paraprofessional in a kindergarten classroom and has also worked as a nanny for infants through school-age children. When she’s not busy working with kids, she enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren, along with the other nursery staff, will love and care for your children while you worship and enjoy community time at Normandale.
