Women’s Wednesday Bible Study (WWBS)

Wednesdays, September 6, 2017 - May 9, 2018 | 9:30-11:00 am, Room 201

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (“WWBS”) will study the Book of Luke in 2017-18. Our forum begins with a large group presentation of the specific chapters we have studied. We end our time together in small group discussions reflecting on those same passages. You will be amazed to discover how Wide and Long and High and Deep Christ’s Love is, which leads all of us into a deeper faith.  One that is personal, sacrificing, and lasting.

Come, hear, learn, and have fun, with amazing women! Bring your Bible! Study Guides and Commentaries will be available.

Questions? Contact Maggie Valenta, 952.484.9830, maggiemoen@aol.com.

New to Bible study or interested in additional resources?

Professor Craig Koester (Luther Seminary) has been teaching a course called Genesis to Revelation for years. Lay students and seminarians enjoy this chronological overview of scripture. His free audio podcasts highlight reoccurring themes, build connections between books and his passion is contagious. If you are new to bible study or this part of scripture, consider beginning here: http://www2.luthersem.edu/ckoester/gen_to_rev_audio.asp.

Luther Seminary has created a valuable online resource called Enter the Bible. This database is filled with searchable history, summaries and visuals that help you dive into scripture with deeper context and clarity. http://www.enterthebible.org.

Normandale Women's Circles

Normandale Women's Circles

You're invited! Circles are small groups that come together to deepen our connections with each other and share our lives more fully. We'd love to find a place for you! Current Circles have a Bible study, social, and optional service component and meet approximately once a month about 10 times per year. We love how Circles bring women together, create friendships, and strengthen our community. Please contact Heide Moss at heidecm649@hotmail.com or complete the online interest form here so that we may be in touch with you!

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for Sew Day Quilting! Come when you can!

Want to sew charity quilt tops at home? We have cotton fabric, cut and arranged in rows for you to take home to make a colorful quilt top. Information is included in the Quilt Kits and we’d be happy to show you. Our quilts are donated to Lutheran World Relief and are driven to a warehouse in South St. Paul and then shipped all over the world where needed. And we are always looking for blankets and fabric! Any questions, please call Judy Henderson at 952.920.3948.
