Women’s Wednesday Bible Study (WWBS)

Wednesdays, September 6, 2017 - May 9, 2018 | 9:30-11:00 am, Room 201

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (“WWBS”) will study the Book of Luke in 2017-18.

January Update!
On January 24, Normandale’s Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (WWBS) began a new series on Acts.  Acts is the second volume of the 2-volume work Luke-Acts being written by the same author.  We have recently completed the study of Luke and are going on to Acts, leaving the Gospel of John until Fall 2018.  A study guide for Acts along with a commentary on Acts are available for purchase.  Our new leader for Acts is Lindsey Bina, a graduate of Luther Seminary, waiting to be called and ordained.  We welcome any women who would like to join us for the study of Acts (meeting Jan. 24-May 2, 2018).  Our forum begins with a large group presentation of the specific chapters we have studied. We end our time together in small group discussions reflecting on those same passages. Come and see how a small Jewish movement centered in Jerusalem moved into a worldwide faith.  You are welcome to come and see what the faith of the first Christians looked like, what they believed and by what power the church was formed and grew.

Come, hear, learn, and have fun, with amazing women! Bring your Bible! Study Guides and Commentaries will be available.

Normandale Women's Circles

Normandale Women's Circles

You're invited! Circles are small groups that come together to deepen our connections with each other and share our lives more fully. We'd love to find a place for you! Current Circles have a Bible study, social, and optional service component and meet approximately once a month about 10 times per year. We love how Circles bring women together, create friendships, and strengthen our community. Please contact Heide Moss at or complete the online interest form here so that we may be in touch with you!

Interested in joining a circle? We'd love to have you join us.

Want to sew charity quilt tops at home? We have cotton fabric, cut and arranged in rows for you to take home to make a colorful quilt top. Information is included in the Quilt Kits and we’d be happy to show you. Our quilts are donated to Lutheran World Relief and are driven to a warehouse in South St. Paul and then shipped all over the world where needed. And we are always looking for blankets and fabric!
