Sew Day Quilting
Tuesdays | 8:30-11:30 am
Join us in the Fellowship Hall for Sew Day Quilting! Come when you can!
Want to sew charity quilt tops at home? We have cotton fabric, cut and arranged in rows for you to take home to make a colorful quilt top. Information is included in the Quilt Kits and we’d be happy to show you. Our quilts are donated to Lutheran World Relief and are driven to a warehouse in South St. Paul and then shipped all over the world where needed. And we are always looking for blankets and fabric! Any questions, please call Judy Henderson at 952.920.3948.
Women’s Wednesday Bible Study (WWBS)
Wednesdays, January 25 - May 10 | 9:30-11:00 am, Room 2019
Mark is a Gospel of action; emphasizing the activity of Jesus, how He served, and died for the sins of the world. Jesus is God’s Servant, even to the Cross. What do you personally believe about Jesus and what is your response to that belief?
Wednesday Women’s Bible Study (“WWBS”) invites you to join us as we begin studying the humanity and servanthood of Jesus in the Book of Mark. We will study in depth Mark’s narrative of something of great importance and a most unusual nature that is taking place. The Son of God; a Servant and a Savior, He comes, He stands with us to the end, and He will be with us through the end. Our forum begins with Pastor Meta Herrick Carlson’s knowledgeable, thought provoking, large group presentation of the specific chapters we have studied. We end our time together in small group discussion reflecting on those same passages. You will be amazed to discover how Wide and Long and High and Deep Christ’s Love is, which leads all of us into a deeper faith. One that is personal, sacrificing, and lasting.
Come, hear, learn, and have fun, with amazing women! Bring your Bible! Study Guides and Commentaries will be available.
